Chief of Staff and Director, Government Relations
The Chief of Staff is responsible for the direction and management of the administrative, financial, human resources, facilities and planning functions for the Office of the President. Provides leadership and oversight to the financial and administrative functions of the four units within the Division of the President. Assists the President with community outreach and in raising the profile of the University.
As Director, Government Relations, she is responsible for cultivating and maintaining positive, constructive relationships with all three levels of government through the development and implementation of a comprehensive government relations strategy for York University.
Coordinator, Special Events
The Coordinator, Special Events is responsible for planning and co-ordinating meetings and special events that involve the President and/or Chancellor.
Secretary to the President
The Secretary to the President is responsible for providing secretarial and clerical support to the President.
Front Desk Coordinator
The Front Desk Co-ordinator is responsible for handling the queries and complaints directed to the Office of the President. He provides direct communication between the Office and the York community at all levels and constituencies. He is responsible for providing assistance to visitors, service providers, and others with business on the 10th floor of the Kaneff Tower.
Executive Assistant to the President
The Executive Assistant provides management and oversight of the President's schedule, briefing materials and correspondence.
Administrative & Special Projects Coordinator
The Administrative and Special Projects Coordinator provides executive-level support to the Chief of Staff, research support to the Communications portfolio and general support to the office. Key responsibilities include: the coordination of the Chief of Staff's schedule; providing administrative support; coordination of several projects, providing support to several Presidential committees, and supervision of the student staff in the office.
The Manager, Administration is responsible for the daily management of the administrative, financial, human resources, facilities and planning functions for the Office of the President and provides support to the Division of the President as required.
The Sustainability Project Coordinator is responsible for identifying and supporting sustainability projects and initatives.
Communications & Government Relations Assistant
The Communications and Government Relations Assistant provides assistance in a variety of tasks and particularly those related to the communications and government relations portfolios.
The Office Assistant provides assistance in a variety of tasks and particularly those related to preparation for meetings and special events.
The Director, Communications is responsible for developing and implementing communications initiatives in support of the President's mandate.
Information Technology & Records Coordinator
The Information, Technology and Records Coordinator is responsible for the organization and maintenance of the physical and electronic institutional records, databases, files and lists generated by the Office of the President. In addition, he is responsible for creating and maintaining websites that properly reflects the Office of the President and for the equipment and technology in the office.
